The Founder Institute returns virtually to Portugal, announcing applications for the pitch competition Founder Showcase in its aim to find and support talented entrepreneurs.

Portuguese startups with less than $250K USD in funding are invited to pitch virtually to a panel of investors at Founder Showcase, an important event in the global startup ecosystem. Earlier hosts at the event include Tesla founder Elon Musk and Box Founder Aaron Levie.

Some of companies that had one of their first public pitches at Founder Showcase include Udemy, Relay Rides, Thumbtack, Realty Mogul, Kaggle, and others.

Founders from Portugal should visit here to apply. The application deadline is January 17th, 2021, and the process is 100% free.

Headquartered in Silicon Valley and based in over 185 cities, Founder Institute has graduated several dozen startups from Portugal.
